Ms. Megan Marruffo became part of LACO’s Planning team in 2015, bringing with her a strong background in both land use and environmental planning. She currently serves as a Senior Planner and Project Manager at LACO. Ms. Marruffo specializes in the preparation of environmental review documents pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) for a wide array of project types. Ms. Marruffo also has extensive experience managing multi-disciplinary projects, including coordination with various LACO departments and subconsultants, navigating permitting processes at the local, State, and federal levels for residential, commercial, and industrial planning projects, and providing on-call planning support to various local jurisdictions.
In addition to her core planning work, Ms. Marruffo is skilled in technical writing, developing scopes of service and contracts, conducting air quality analyses, and preparing a variety of reports, such as technical memorandums, development feasibility analyses, and operations plans.
