Mr. Thiessen interned with LACO Associates on and off for a few years before graduating with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico in Spring of 2022. As an intern, he assisted in agricultural development plan checks, drafted plan sets for large residential subdivision developments, and gained civil engineering knowledge and experience in many capacities. After graduating, Mr. Thiessen went straight to work full time for LACO Associates as an Assistant Engineer. Since then, he has continued to exceed expectations and has taken on a variety of challenging projects involving precise grading, hydrology, low impact development design, utility design, development feasibility, and more.
Mr. Thiessen is a team player and has worked closely with clients to provide his services in the best way possible. When challenges arise, he addresses them with positivity and professionalism. Mr. Thiessen is continually striving to advance his expertise and career and is in the process of getting his Professional Engineer’s (PE) license.
