West Coast Contractors retained LACO to provide special inspection services for the construction of a new steel girder bridge spanning the south fork of the Smith River in Del Norte County, California. The new Steven Memorial Bridge was constructed to replace an antiquated single lane bridge located in the Six Rivers National Forest built in the 1950’s and is 470 feet in length. LACO provided welding inspection services during welding of the main bridge girders to the support piers and abutments.
