Effective date: July 6, 2026

LACO Associates (“LACO,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit lacoassociates.com (the “Site”) or otherwise interact with us, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to information we collect through our online forms and communications. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to, which have their own privacy practices.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, request a quote, pay an invoice, apply for a job, or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide information such as your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, company or agency, project details, resume or employment history, and anything else you choose to include in a message or form.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages you view, links you click, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Information from third parties. We may receive information about you from analytics and advertising providers (such as Google) and from public sources, to the extent permitted by law.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • respond to your inquiries, quote requests, and invoice payments;
  • evaluate and communicate about employment applications;
  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
  • measure and analyze Site traffic and performance;
  • deliver and measure advertising, including through Google Ads, where permitted;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising. When you first visit the Site, we present a consent banner that lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies before they are set. You can change your choice at any time through the banner. We also honor recognized browser-based opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC). For a full description of the cookies we use and how to control them, see our Cookie Policy.

Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site and Google Ads to measure and support our advertising. These tools may set cookies and collect identifiers such as your IP address and interaction data, and they share that information with Google as an independent service provider. Google’s handling of this data is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

You can control this collection by:

  • accepting or declining analytics and advertising cookies in our consent banner;
  • installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;
  • adjusting your Google Ads personalization settings at https://adssettings.google.com;
  • using a browser that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. With vendors who host the Site, provide analytics and advertising services, process form submissions, and support our operations, under contracts that limit their use of the information.
  • Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LACO, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Some sharing of information with advertising providers for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” under certain state laws. You may opt out of this by declining advertising cookies in our banner and by using a Global Privacy Control signal.

California’s “Shine the Light” law (Civil Code § 1798.83) allows California residents to request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. Depending on the volume and nature of our data processing, some provisions of the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended) may not apply to LACO; regardless, you may contact us with any privacy request and we will respond as required by law.
